Hello Journal,
Well I'm back from taking Joanna on another star light adventure to... anywhere my car takes me. Tonight we went down 144 to 29/40 to 122 to 26 to 99 to... well, you get the picture.
I like driving, I have a 2007 Honda Civic EX (I paid it off in 4 1/2 years). I have over 133,000 miles on it and it's still going strong. Honda cars do last a long time if I do say so myself.
You know, these back road adventures are fun. Joanna will usually put on some music, I will usually just drive while the music's playing, and we just talk about life's great challenges and the relationship we have together.
The adventures began a long time ago... My goal is to keep my girlfriend happy and keep the conversation rolling as we drive down these roads. I mean, I don't want to take her somewhere and just take her back home. My friend Brian Depriest said: You make the best of things and spend as much time with someone as possible.
So what have I been doing, Journal? Easy, I've been taking her through our majestic back roads. Ever since I met her, it seems more and more I just want to explore the good back roads of Maryland while carrying on a conversation with the most wonderful girl in the world.
She knows good country hits. I didn't grow up much on country, but I've learned more and more that these artists are singing about stories and United States of America. The stuff we need nowadays. We need country stars singing big American events... Like at the Super Bowl.... Wink Wink NFL! These stars are telling stories about America, their lost loves, and its abundance of desolate, less-traveled roads of majestic wonders you may not find anywhere else in the world.
Joanna and I have been together for nearly 2 months and its been nothing but one great adventure after another and it's gotten to the point where I can truly say our relationship is getting stronger and stronger. We've haven't had one thing to even fuss about!
Well Journal, it's been real, but I better get to bed... Still no tag line..
~ Joshua ~
