Where'd my interest go?

Hello,

Lately, I've been asking myself why I've been watching a LOT less television and playing a LOT less video games.

I can honestly say I've lost interest in playing video games and watching television. I'll watch sports but I haven't gotten interested in any new television shows or things of the such. Video games on the other hand? I've basically am just letting the games gather dust. I haven't bought a new game since NHL 14.

The Walking Dead, True Blood, Dexter, all that stuff... I've had no interest and never will have any interest at all. Personally, I'm sick of the zombie craze, can we let it go?

Anyway, I used to watch television when it was good. Remember the good ol' days of good television? JAG, Full House, Boy Meets World... What happened to shows like that? That is watchable television. Today's shows aside from maybe a VERY SELECT few are unwatchable.

Also, a lot of movies are not interesting me anymore and personally I feel the movie industry is going to eventually run out of ideas unless someone out of the blue comes up with something REALLY good. I mean, even the Marvel and DC comic movies are just not interesting me anymore.

A lot of people are crazy about "The Nightmare Before Christmas", not me... I don't like the film and don't plan to watch it. I saw "E.T." for only the first time last year.

Like I said about musical groups and bands, they never really interested me either because... I couldn't pick. But I am seeing my first concert in approximately 2 weeks.

Would you say I live a boring life? I'd imagine so. I just like driving, hanging with my fiancee, and just doing my own thing. I enjoy writing. That's something I love doing.

As I grow older, I know my interests will in fact change. I'll be taking care of my apartment, washing dishes, cleaning my rooms up, the works...

Up above is my true statement about life. Interests will indeed change. You just have to take life as it comes.
